FOX VALLEY (WLUK) -- Enjoying the outdoors is how we live in Wisconsin.
Many people like to get a run or walk in during the winter months.
FOX 11's Emily Deem spoke with Leah Schapiro, from Fleet Feet Fox Valley, about ways people can be seen and stay safe if they are exercising outside.
Fleet Feet Fox Valley has a free accountability program in February that anyone can participate in called Share the Run.
They also have an upcoming spring training program for Cellcom starts in March.
Additional upcoming programs include a) 5K distance training for beginners and b) a 5 - location trail series that starts this spring.
More info on cold weather training and how it impacts the body can be found by clicking here.
